Develop the right attitude

The secret to finding success in living your healthiest is becoming happy with who you are. There is no magical little pill that will get you there, or change your behavior or attitude. You are the gatekeeper to your mind – make a conscious effort to develop a positive attitude and most of all – believe in yourself! I CAN. I WILL. I DO.

A goal without a plan is just a wish

It is very difficult to win races or lose weight just going with the flow. Wilson Coaching will help you develop a plan and more importantly follow through with it! If you are one who struggles following through with your plan, stop and ask yourself: will this help me get to where I want to be? I CAN. I WILL. I DO.

Balance and moderation

At Wilson Coaching we avoid taking the all-or-nothing approach – in fitness, in nutrition and in life! If you are contemplating to begin a workout, always remember some is better than none. As for your nutrition, you do not have to give up all your favorite foods; we focus on a plant based meal plan and practice moderation as well as your frequency indulging in your favorite treats. We want to live a healthy, balanced life to ensure we can take pleasure in ALL we do. I CAN. I WILL. I DO.

Positive self-talk

Good mental management is just as important, if not more, than being physically fit. When you have the ability to manage your thoughts, your actions follow and you make forward progress. I CAN. I WILL. I DO.

Visualize success

Take 1-2 minutes a day and visualize successful activities. Focus on upcoming challenges and how you will overcome stressful situations. I CAN. I WILL. I DO.

Be patient and persistent

We all know the saying – Rome wasn’t built in a day.  Keep in mind everyday you successfully complete a workout or resist an Oreo cookie, you are one step closer to achieving your goal.  Enjoy the journey and never give up!  I CAN.  I WILL.  I DO.
